Mobile Crisis Intervention Service
MCES operates an ambulance service with staff trained to handle both medical and behavioral emergencies. This is a unique service and is possibly the only one of its kinds in the country.
Our ambulance service significantly reduces the involvement police and community ambulances in psychiatric emergencies. This allows police and community ambulance personnel to focus on other community needs and helps assure the availability of specially-trained emergency medical personnel at situations.
